Booking information

The Camp:

invented and operated by TERRA LU TRAVEL,
uses facilities of "Marina Camp Elbe", a private owned camp ground, marina, and hotel,
located at Elbe river, straight across the old town of Wittenberg,

LutherCamp uses Marina Club House and grassland.

accommodation: in tents on air beds. 4 - 6 people per tent. Wood cabins and Hotel rooms available on request at the same grounds. Groups need to bring sleeping bags.
food: small kitchen available in the Club house at LutherCamp. Groups may prepare food on their own, Catering would also be available from Restaurant on same grounds.
meeting room: Club house has an own meeting room with deck facing Wittenberg old town. Depending on number of participants additional group meeting tents are available.
Sanitary: 2 toilets/ 2 showers for girls and 2 toilets/ 3 showers for boys in the Club house at LutherCamp. Larger sanitary building of camping site can be used (4 mins walk)
Church: Small chapel built in former munitions bunker
All participants should have bicycles (bring their own or rent) for excursions, but also to be flexible to go downtown for an ice cream any time during the days.
A TERRA LU companion lives on site and helps with contacts and ideas.

  • "on site bible studies", sharing and talking - not in a standard fellowship hall or school at home, but at the original Lutheran places!
  • Workshop at historic printer in Wittenberg,
  • Painting workshop at Cranach house,
  • meet with native Wittenbergers and hear about the situation of the church in former East Germany,
  • talks and lectures on various topics by Wittenberg Pastors and Professors,

  • Wittenberg town, stores, and Ice cream cafés,
  • Wittenberg churches and museums, like Lutherhouse, Melanchthonhouse,
  • day trips to Berlin, Torgau, Eisleben, and Leipzig,
  • and much more...
activity
 
  • bike tours to Bergwitz Lake, along Elbe bike trail to Woerlitz,
  • Roller skate tour (possibly at "Flaeming Skate"),
  • Kayak- tour or boat cruise on Elbe river,
  • open air event at "Ferropolis",
  • and much more...

Get everything out of one hand:

Rent the camp, fully equiped with tents, air beds, fire place, BBQ grill, kitchen, meeting room or additional tents, Chapel,
Use the camp kitchen or take advantage of the services of the Restaurant on the campground,
Rental of bicycles, kayaks, boats,
local guides, lectures, museum programs,
booking of additional day trips to other towns,
any kind of service prior and following your stay at LutherCamp. A TERRA LU bus can meet you at the airport, take you to LutherCamp, and pick you up later for additional trips in Germany or Europe.
